  • As a general rule, the Company handles personal information within the specified scope of use.

Purposes of Use of Personal Information

  1. To conduct business concerning transactions with customers (including business concerning sales, purchases, collection of charges and payment),
  2. To notify shareholders of Company information and dividends,
  3. To conduct business concerning recruitment activities at the Company, and
  4. To smoothly and appropriately execute other business with customers.
  • The Company endeavors to maintain personal data that is accurate and up-to-date in accordance with the purposes of use.
  • Except where otherwise prescribed by law, the Company will not provide personal data to any third party without your consent.
  • To deliver appropriate services based on local content or business content, etc., the Company may provide to its group companies such as subsidiaries personal information such as name, address, telephone number and email address.
  • To protect personal information, the Company conducts appropriate supervision of its employees and parties to which it entrusts business.
  • The Company will respond appropriately to any request from you to disclose, amend or cease use, etc. of your personal data in its possession.

Handling of Shareholder Information

The Company handles personal information concerning shareholders (“shareholder information”) in the following manner.

(1)Basic Policy

The Company handles shareholder information appropriately in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the Companies Act, other relevant laws and regulations, and the Company’s Personal Information Protection Policy.

(2)Purposes of use of shareholder information

The Company uses shareholder information for the following purposes:

  1. To exercise its rights and execute its obligations under the Companies Act,
  2. To afford various conveniences from the Company to the status of shareholders,
  3. To forward reports of corporate activities, etc. to shareholders, and
  4. To prepare data for shareholders according to prescribed standards in accordance with various laws and regulations.

(3)Provision of Shareholder Information to third parties

The Company appropriately manages shareholder information in its custody, and except where stated otherwise in laws and regulations, will not provide shareholder information to any third party without the prior consent of the shareholder.

(4) Inquiries

In line with the conversion to electronic share certificates, the Company accepts shareholders’ changes of address, purchase requests and various other procedures made via the account management institution (securities company, etc.) where the shareholder has an account. Please address any inquiries you have to the securities company, etc. where you have your account. Please note that the shareholder registry administrator (Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation) cannot handle such requests.
Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation is the special account management institution for various procedures concerning shares recorded in the special accounts. Please contact the special account management institution (Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation) below regarding your inquiries. All branches of Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation throughout Japan also act as agents for the Company.
The Company also pays unreceived dividends via the main branch of the Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation.
